Banana Bread

½ cup butter (grated)1 tsp Baking Soda
3 over-ripe bananas ½ tsp Baking Powder
1 cup granulated white sugar2 cups all-purpose flour
2 eggs½ tsp salt
¼ tsp vanilla¾ cup chocolate chips (or to taste)
Use 2 bowls, one for dry ingredients and one for wet ingredients
Grate butter with grater (do not melt!) Cream butter and sugar together
Add eggs, bananas, and vanilla. In dry bowl, add flour, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, and salt. (Don’t confuse Baking Soda with Baking Powder!)
Whisk well, let sit a couple of minutes. Add this to wet bowl. Stir well (KitchenAid mixer works well). Add chocolate chips
Transfer to greased 9” x 5” x 3” pan. Bake at 350⁰ F for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until fork comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes. Remove from pan and place on rack to cool. Wrap to store
